Course description; 1)Introduction of band theory in Si 2)Minority carrier generation and recombination 3)Band diagram in PN diode 4)PN junction 5)MOS capacitor & MON transistor Objectives; Basics of semiconductor physics are studied.
Required competence or courses that must be previously taken by students: Basic physics (electronics, classical mechanics and quantum theory) is better to understand.
