Acquiring fundamental concepts of research methodology in second language domain is the preliminary task for freshman graduate students in TESOL program. Hence, this course aims to help you gain essential knowledge about research. By the end of the course, you will be able to 1. demonstrate the ability to identify ethical standards of research conduction, 2. search for relative reference through academic database or library, 3. demonstrate familiarity with basic concepts of various quantitative and qualitative methods, 4. identify strength and weakness of published research articles, and 5. propose a research design with feasible methodology.
