The course aims at helping students understand what is the scope of transportation project evaluation and how to employ economic concepts and techniques for project evaluation and decision-making. A primary focus will be put on the application of benefit-cost analysis on transportation projects, and seeks to provide a systematic process for calculating and comparing benefits and costs of a project.
This course assumes that you have a good grasp of the concepts and materials covered in Statistics and Economics.
