Fault-tolerance design enables a system to continue its operation in the presence of component failures. The failures can be caused by hardware malfunctions, software bugs, operation errors, or security attacks. In this course, we will cover techniques for achieving dependable and secure system design and present real-world use cases to explain why such design matters.
