The course will provide students all the information to design and create Internet of Things applications using the Arduino and Raspberry PI platform. The Arduino is a great open source microcontroller platform that allows to build quickly, easily and with low cost small automation and monitoring projects. Raspberry PI is a small single-board computer. It can provide networking function and integrate with Arduino. In this class, students will play with various sensors, such as temperature sensors, gas sensors, thermostats, infrared sensors, humidity sensors, G-sensors, etc.
