概述

The contents of this course include Fundamental Concepts, Basic equations in integral form for a control volume, Fluid Statics, Introduction to Differential Analysis of Fluid Motion, Incompressible inviscid (frictionless) flow, Dimensional Analysis and Similitude and Incompressible laminar (viscous) flows. The purpose is to build up the student's basic understanding of fluid mechanics to serve as the preliminary foundation for the advanced studies, such as energy technologies, bio-technologies, molecular dynamics, even atmosphere behaviors, etc.

Strongly suggest the students to take the courses of Fundamental Thermodynamics and Engineering Mathematics in advance

Mid-term Examination (30%) Final Examination (40%) Homeworks (30%): Remind that the homework should be handed in at the beginning of the class on the due day. Late submission within two days is 20% off the original grade. Homework submission is no latter than two days beyond the due date.
