本課程旨在探討進階之材料力學問題, 培養更高層次之力學分析能力,特別是結構工程專業所需之分析能力. 內容包括衝擊荷重,疲勞, 應力集中與非線性力學行為, 以及薄壁構件,組合斷面及非閉合斷面之扭轉,雙向撓曲與受剪之分析. 此外,本課程亦將探討梁之變形與柱之挫屈問題等從事結構力學分析與設計之基本能力.
