This course aims to improve students’ writing skills. The enrolled students will learn how to write academically, which includes writing summaries and research papers. Although these academic papers require similar basic writing skills such as the appropriate use of vocabulary and correct punctuation, they differ from each other in several important aspects. The students will spend a lot of time learning the strategies needed to write academic papers and trying to put what is taught into practice; the ultimate goal of this course is to help them to write with confidence.
