概述

The course correspond to the field of spintronics or spin-based electronic devices. The spin elecctronic issues include the detection of spin coherence in nanoscale structures such as quantum well and quantum dots, the optimization of spin lifetimes, transport of spin-polarized carriers across relevant length scales and hetero-interfaces, theoretical concepts for all-electrical spin control in quantum dots for quantum information processing, etc.
