概述

This course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge to develop hydrological models on and beneath the surface of the earth. It covers the fundamental theory and advanced principles of hydrology and hydraulics, basic knowledge of mathematical derivations, and numerical concept for solving hydrological problems. To increase knowledge on basic principle of hydrological models, students are taught to study fundamental theories in hydrological models and using numerical methods in practical applications through exams, assigned homework or term projects.

Tests will be scheduled. Material covered on the tests will include handouts, lecture notes, and outside readings if assigned. All handouts will be provided.
