Information systems (IS) have played an increasingly important role in the operations of organization, business, and the society. The course covers the foundations of business oriented information systems in both the technical and managerial aspects. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with the information technologies and business applications emerging in the digital economy, and should be able to evaluate a business situation and implement an information system
