概述

Course Description: TThis class provides students with an introduction to principal concepts and methods of fluid mechanics. Topics covered in the course include 1-pressure, hydrostatics, and buoyancy; 2-Bernoulli equation; 3-control volume analysis; 4-Continuity equation; 5-momentum conservation for moving fluids; 6-energy equation; and 7-dimensional analysis and similitude. Objective: Students will work to develop the problem-solving skill essential to good engineering practice of fluid mechanics in practical applications.
