-Course Description: This course helps students to brush up the listening and speaking skills that enable them of effective daily conversations and help students adapt themselves to the life in Taiwan quickly. -Course Goal: The course focuses on the trainings of listening and speaking. Learn to use Hanyu Pinyin and capable of communicating with basic vocabularies and grammar, which included making a self-introduction and dealing with daily issues such as shopping and ordering meals, etc.
The students must have completed, or be taking the courses of Introductory Chinese I and/or Introductory Everyday Chinese I.
無備註
Teacher reserves the right to drop and reject the students who miss the first and/ or second class. Attend the class and complete the homework or tasks on time. Participate discussions and practices during the class. No cellphones and other electronic things during class.
1. Homework (20%):Late homework will be reject and won’t get the score. 2. Attendance and Class Participation(25%):Absent without any reason more than three times will fail the class. Absent because of sick or public affairs should submit a certificate. 3. Quizzes and tests(15%):Make up the test because of late or absent will lose 10% of the grade. 4. Oral Presentation(40%):Oral presentation includes midterm and final presentation and 20% score for each presentation.
