The objective of this course is to learn the theory and practice of Machine Learning (ML). As a graduate-level course, it aims to not only provide a broad introduction to the fundamental concepts of ML but also cover the latest topics in current ML literature, such as Graph Neural Networks (GNN).
There are no formal pre-requisites for the course, but students should have basic knowledge of probability and linear algebra as well as previous programming experience in Python. Students are welcomed to contact the instructor if they are unsure whether their backgrounds are suitable for the course.
