In this course, we will explore the diversity of medieval studies by reading selected texts along with critical essays. The syllabus uploaded here is only a tentative one. A printed copy of the finalized syllabus will be provided in the first week.

Pre-class reading is strictly required. Assignments must be submitted on time. Late assignments will not be accepted. Weekly reader responses and questions must be sent to the instructor and all the classmates by 12.00 pm, Tuesday of the week.
Weekly reader responses and questions: 30 % In-class discussion and exercises: 20% Presentations: 20% 1 term paper 30% *The instructor reserves the right to adjust the percentages of the above graded categories at her discretion.
