The purpose of this conversation class is to strengthen students' listening and speaking ability. By traveling Taiwan through the book, students are able to learn about Taiwan's local culture and customs, and able to improve their skills to communicate with other people.
Introductory Chinese Conversation II, Introductory Chinese II, or Introductory Everyday Chinese II.

Course Policy: 1. NOTE: Students must attend the first week of class. Students fail to show up will be automatically dropped from the course. 2. Attend classes regularly and on time. Students who have more than 3 unexcused absences, or absent more than 1/3 of course hours will get a failure. 3. Complete assignments on time. Late homework will not be accepted. 4. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the actual progress of the class and other unexpected circumstances.
Evaluation: Attendance: 15% Participation: 20% Assignments: 15% Oral Presentation: 10% Midterm Exam/Oral Presentation: 20% Final Exam/Oral Presentation: 20%
