Cells can sense their environment, process information, and respond accordingly, which range from the expression of genes to the control of cellular movement. Cells exist in the physical world and follow its laws. In this course, we will use this fundamental biological unit to introduce biophysics. The materials in this course will mainly base on the structure of the book of Endres. Further mathematical and physical tools will be included as supplemental materials.
