The course aims to help you develop advanced writing competence for various purposes and under different contexts. In this course, you will not only experience Here are the objectives that you should be able to accomplish by the end of the course. 1. Write effective components in a paragraph and in essays; 2. Use effective writing devices to improve the unity, cohesion, and coherent of your writing; 3. Synthesize the essential components of writing in different genres; 4. Seek for appropriate words and styles to fit into different genres; 5. Diagnose your own common writing problems/errors; 6. give constructive comments on others’ writing; and 7. work collaboratively with others.
