This course is composed of three sections. First, students will first review basic neurophysiology in the neuromuscular system. Second, students will learn surface EMG signal origin, and principles of recording and analysis, plus two hands-on courses for practice. Third, students will learn basics and application of intramuscular EMG, including recording and analysis, plus two hands-on courses for practice. There will be literature review and discussion sessions for classical and recently published articles in the field. Students will review and present literatures related to their research interests.
