The course’s comprehensive lectures will begin from the basics of measuring health and disease in populations including demography, life table, health indicators, and summary measures, and move on to the concepts of modeling and determinants of population health and risk assessment. The techniques for health assessment will be introduced in the final lectures. The course will consist of lectures, homework, and student presentations. There will be no examinations in this course.
