楊定一老師講授論文題目(Title)訂定以及摘要(Abstract)、背景介紹(Introduction)與材料方法 (Materials and Methods)的撰寫,鄭菡若老師講授實驗結果(Results)、討論(Discussion)、參考文獻(References)以及作圖與圖說(Figures/Figure Legends)的撰寫。考量到本所神經工程暨腦資訊組的同學在撰寫相關論文時可能需要注意的事項,特別請楊智傑所長就撰寫此類論文之技巧再加以介紹。Dr. Ding-I Yang is responsible for teaching how to determine the title as well as how to write Abstract, Introduction, and Materials and Methods. Dr. Irene HJ Cheng is responsible for how to write Results, Discussion, References, and Figures/Figure legends. Dr. Albert CC Yang is going to share the techniques of writing medical papers.
本課程為腦科所博士班一年級同學必修課,但無需修過特定先修科目或具任何先備能力。

主要介紹以英文撰寫科學論文時應注意的重點與技巧,也可以擴及未來撰寫研究計畫。This course is designed to improve the capability of graduate students in writing scientific papers. The skills students learned in this course can also be extended to writing of grant proposals in the future.
本課程無考試,評量方式為一份期末書面報告,請繳交一份英文摘要(A4),其內容可以是你的博士論文或是研究計畫。There will be no tests. At the end of the semester, each student will have to submit an Abstract of his/her own thesis or research proposals.
