This course is designed to introduce the procedures and mechanics of writing a research paper. By the end of the semester, you will be able to: (1) develop academic writing skills; (2) be familiar with the content and organization of a research paper; and (3) be familiar with the vocabulary and grammar features of academic writing. The basic skills of researching will also be covered.
