This course teaches students to become more effective writers, using practical examples and exercises. Topics include: principle of effective writing, tricks for eliminating grammar mistakes, the format of a scientific manuscript and issues in publication and peer review. Course format In the first of four units, we will review principles of effective writing, examples of good and bad writing, and tips for making the writing process easier. Throughout the course, participants will complete quizzes, editing exercises, and final exams.
