課程概述: 近年來約翰霍普金斯大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校和紐約大學等名校科學家們 紛紛投入啟靈藥(Psychedelic drugs)的研究。他們專注於探索啟靈藥於治療精 神疾病或提高癌末患者之靈性安適(Spiritual well-being)的潛力。本課程將研 讀啟靈藥相關的最新科學與醫學研究文獻,並進一步借重心智哲學中關於意 識與自我的既有文獻來探究啟靈藥如何影響人類的自我、意識與靈性經驗。 課程目標: ● 研讀最新相關主題之期刊與學術專書文獻 ● 培養閱讀與分析學術文獻能力 ● 培養進行學術口頭報告能力 ● 學習分析論證之能力 ● 學習撰寫學術論文之能力
