這堂課旨在提升同學們的哲學素養以及跨文化的視角。此外,透過了解東方哲學以及西方哲學對於人生意義、幸福、道德等哲學議題的看法和差異,以及課內安排的閱讀、討論,同學們不僅將更了解東西方哲學,也有機會透過哲學反思提升自己生命的品質和深度。 The main objective of the course is to make students understand more about what philosophy is and cultivate their cross-cultural understanding. Furthermore, through learning eastern and western philosophical thoughts about meaning of life, happiness, morality, etc., understanding their sameness and difference, and appointed readings and discussions, students will not only know more about eastern and western philosophy, but also have the chance to increase their lives' quality and depth.
