本課程的首先會簡短介紹細胞膜電生理及離子通道的基本運作原理,並藉此探討離子通道的異常如何造成疾病,例如心律不整,癲癇,疼痛等等。並介紹常見的癲癇藥物,心律不整藥物,以及新的實驗療法用以治療疾病的之作用機轉。This course will briefly introduce basic membrane electrophysiology and ion channel function and understand how channel malfunction could contribute to diseases such as epilepsy, arrythmia and pain disorder, etc. In addition, drugs that correct channelopathy and its mechanism of action, such as anti-epileptic drug, anti-arrythmia drugs and other novel experimental drugs will be discussed as well.

本課程的目標是瞭解離子通道的異常如何造成疾病,以及如何設計藥物矯正異常的離子通道並治療疾病。The goal is to understand how channel malfunction could contribute to diseases and how to design drugs that correct channelopathy and treat diseases.
