This course provides an overview of occupational and environmental health literacy, focusing on enabling students to effectively manage occupational health policy and administration issues that they may encounter in their future careers. The objectives of this course include: - Occupational health policy and politics Demonstrate capacity to apply conceptual framework for understanding political and policy processes in occupational health. Explain how political institutions and processes influence resource allocation. Understand different perspectives toward occupational health from various stakeholders' point of view. Discuss the policy process for improving the health status of populations. - Health management Demonstrate understanding of the human, social, and economic dynamics of organizational behavior. Develop competency in making effective managerial decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
