Research shows that people in developed countries spend more than 85% of their time in indoor environments on average every day, while infants, young children, the elderly, and patients with chronic diseases spend a higher proportion of their time in indoor environments. Therefore, individuals exhibit symptoms related to exposure to environmental substances or pathogens, and their exposure occurs mainly indoors rather than outdoors. Therefore, indoor air quality is closely related to the health of the people in China, and the airborne COVID19 makes people more aware of breathing The importance of protection. This course will introduce different indoor air quality issues and arrange a Field trip (see the course schedule for details). The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the sources, distribution, and health effects of indoor air pollutants and to propose effective control strategies. To reduce the harm caused by exposure. The last 2 classes of the semester will be a group report for the students.
