The Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Science and Regulatory is the first in Taiwan. The course's aim is to introduce state-of-the-art research and industries in drug, cosmetic, and medical devices. To motivate students to examine the effects and outcomes of pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, and medical devices, markets, services, and policies in health care systems. In this class, you will learn how to identify unmet needs, pursue strong quantitative methodology and outcomes research used to inform clinical practice, and guide health policy decisions from the invited speakers

Evaluation: Weekly report, assessment: Class participation (attendance rate) 70%, Final presentation and report 30%, Instruction: Students are asked to select a topic in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, Medical devices, biotechnology medical care including market analysis, development trends, and related regulations, in the form of PPT presentations and written reports.
