This course continues to work on refining students' essay writing skills. The first half of the semester will focus on ensuring structural logic and flow and improving language clarity and sophistication. The second half of the semester will introduce students to academic writing.

- The current syllabus is subject to change. Schedule and content updates will be provided later in class. - Two points will be taken off for every missed class. Excused absences and tardiness will result in 1 point deductions from the semester grade unless informed otherwise. - Active class participation is mandatory.
