COP26公布的格拉斯哥氣候盟約呼籲各國應於2022年更新其2030年之減量承諾,國家每年應循環檢視淨零進展,透過區分不同關係人或產業的倡議活動,將2030年的減碳目標作為中間突破點,以期望2050年成功達到淨零碳排。此課程將介紹認識環境變遷,瞭解工程技術對環境、社會及全球的影響,包含了許多新興議題,例如: 低污染的化學製程、低碳綠色製程、以及永續商業產品;同時也瞭解工業界對減廢看法與執行方式,包含: 對製程與產品採取整體預防性的環境策略,以減少對人類及環境可能的危害,最後也將探討各種新興綠色工程技術的進展,例如: 綠色企業、環境管理系統、綠色供應鏈等,達到從源頭減量,從使用面實踐節能減廢之目標。 This course is intended for lean manufacturing and design for the environment, low impact development and green infrastructure, green science and engineering, and sustainability. It would present strategies to reduce waste from the source of materials development through to recycling, and examines the basic concepts of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of different pollutants. It includes case studies from several industries, such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, metals, electronics, petrochemicals, refineries, and more. It also addresses the economic considerations for each pollution prevention approach.
