This course gives a brief fundamental understanding of Semiconductors and p-n junctions. Later describes in detail four basic semiconductor optoelectronic devices (Solar cells, light emitting diodes, Photodetectors, and Lasers) that use these p-n junctions. Finally, the course outlines different types of displays (CRT, OLED, LCD).
