1、 To overview the application of the viruses 2、 To discuss the novel application of the viruses 3、 To think the possible application of the viruses This lecture will focus on the application of the viruses. Viruses cause many diseases. However, viruses are also the most powerful genetic tools for doing gene delivery with high specificity in vitro and in vivo. In this lecture, we wish to let the students learn more about the applications of the viruses and think in the different way. The lecture might contain the real practice experiments, hence it is important to have license of BSL-1/2 training.
The students should have finished their BSL-1 and BSL-2 training, better have background knowledge of virology, molecular biology, cell biology. It's also better to have basic knowledge of immunology.
