The main purpose of this course is to encourage students' logical thinking and provide in-depth knowledge in the field of deformable body mechanics. It aims to equip students with foundational skills for future courses, including materials design and microstructure analysis. The course explores the behavioral responses (e.g., stress, strain, deformation, displacement, and strain energy) of different structures (such as rods and shafts) under various loading conditions (such as axial force, torque, shear force, and bending moment).
