物理實驗的目的除了可驗證課堂上學到的物理理論,加深其印象和提高學習興趣外,更重要的是提升學生的實作經驗和培養優良的實驗態度和能力,有助於其將來從事較高深之基礎科學研究發展,或到工業界服務時具備解決問題的能力,以適應不斷進步的科學技術和開拓新的科學領域。 In this course, we will perform basic experiments to verify what we learn in general physics courses. The goals of this course is not only to strengthen students’ the impression on some physics phenomena but also to increase students’ practical experience and abilities on experiments. The abilities and attitude leaned in the course will be a helpful to students for further studies in academic or industry.

實驗一: 空氣熱容比與熱機 Exp I: Ratio of Specific Heats of a Gas
量測空氣熱容比並藉由真實熱機了解熱循環過程 Measure the ratio of specific heat of a gas and study the process of a real heat engine
實驗二: 載流導線受力測試 Exp II: Magnetic Force on a Wire
觀測長直導線於磁場內受力的影響以了解電與磁之間的關係 Analyze the force on a current-carrying wire in a magnetic field to verify the relation between electricity and magnetism
實驗三: 光的干涉與繞射 Exp III: Interference and Diffraction
藉由單狹縫、雙狹縫、圓孔與光柵,了解干涉與繞射現象 Study the interference and diffraction of light by using single-slits, double-slits, circular holes and gratings
實驗四: 麥克森干涉 Exp IV: Michelson Interferometer
了解麥克森干涉儀構造與原理,進而量測雷射光波長與待測玻璃折射率 Study the principle of Michelson Interferometer and use it to measure the wavelength of a light source as well as the refraction index of a glass
實驗五: 基本電學 Exp V: Basic Electricity
了解電表、訊號產生器與示波器之原理與操作方式 Study the principle and operation of a multi-meter, a function generator and an oscilloscope.
實驗六: RLC 電路 Exp VI: RLC circuit
研究RLC電路之阻尼震盪與特徵頻率以及解強迫震盪與其特徵頻率 Study the damped oscillation, the characteristic frequency as well as frequency response of a RLC circuit
