The primary purpose of this course is for the learner to achieve a clear and comprehensive understanding of the rational formulation and usage of drug products and preparations as they relate to development of logically sound explanations of and arguments for a particular patient’s drug therapy. Besides, tissue engineering has emerged as a new discipline within reconstructive surgery, with focus on in vitro fabrication of living, human spare parts. Tissue engineering encompasses several different sciences such as biology, chemistry, material science, engineering and transplantation. The second part in tissue engineering provides a general understanding of tissue growth and development as well as the tools and theoretical information necessary to design tissues and organs.

We’ll provide you with an in-depth understanding of the molecular targets at which the different classes of stem cells, as well as the current evolution of stem cells and nanoscale drug delivery, including the topics of targeting, imaging, delivery, and therapy.
