概述

Try to prepare students to have better ability to perform research. The course covers logic, writing, literature search, data analysis (including regression and error analysis), and presentation. Undergraduate seniors and MS students are welcome. Limit to 16 students.

成績考評方式: 以百分考評。 No test!! Scores are based on quizzes, homework, and presentations. A. Quizzes: During class. 20% B. Presentation examples of logic flaw in research. (10/08) 15% C. Homework 1: Writing, tables and figures. (11/19) 15% D. Homework 2: Literature search summary. (12/03) 20% E. Homework 3: Regression and error analysis. (12/17) 15% F. Presentation: Present a paper with 1 and 5 slides. (12/10 & 12/17) 20%
