*本課程以導讀認知科學英文科普讀物的方式,預期達到以下目標* (1) 訓練學生養成高效的英文閱讀習慣及邏輯推理能力。 (2) 強化學生對學術簡報概念的理解及實作能力。 (3) 引導學生探討「認知科學革命」所帶來的典範轉移 (paradigm shift) 如何影響當代語言科學的研究,特別是人類獨有的語言習得與運用的認知機制。 (4) 帶領學生理解在現今人工智能的發展下,為何大型語言模型 (Large Language Model, LLM) 如 ChatGPT 並沒有真正理解人類語言?
