This course provides the students the framework to explore possible service and design problems between peoples and digital technologies. It will give students insight and experience in key issues of User Experience research methods and design thinking practice. In class and practice sessions, students will be required to tackle selected design problems by using different methods, and invent solutions to capture insights and provide suggestions for design solutions.
There are no formal prerequisites for this course, but students are expected to have basic knowledge of UX design or HCI related subjects.

Students are expected to complete the weekly reading assignments prior to the class meetings. Please see below for the weekly readings. If you expect to miss class or arrive late, please let the instructor know in advance. Only One absences are allowed. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: - Identifying and framing navigational problems in a virtual environment - Exploring pros and cons of next generation of information systems and virtual applications - Becoming familiar with UX design, evaluation, and development - Planning and visualizing information right for augmented narrating - Exploring the critical design issues to enhance a good walkability experience in an augmented environment
