「環境永續與工程科技」課程將探討環境保護與永續發展的核心議題,並介紹達成永續目標所需的技術與方法。課程涵蓋水資源短缺與永續供水、空氣污染防治、化學物質對環境的影響、基礎毒理學與生物修復等主題,並深入探討核能與太陽能、地熱能的利用。此外,課程還探討綠色工業革命、可再生能源系統的政治經濟治理及其對建立永續社區的重要性。學生將學習化學相關的全球挑戰與永續工程原理,並結合聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs),如清潔水資源、可負擔能源、永續城市、健康福祉及陸地生態等,系統性地分析解決環境問題的策略。
