概述

Upon successful completion of this course, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental physical principles underlying medical imaging technologies and gain the ability to analyze image contrast mechanisms, evaluate system performance characteristics, and compare the advantages and limitations of different imaging modalities for various clinical applications. Students will learn to assess appropriate imaging technique selection based on clinical requirements, understand the relationship between imaging physics and image quality, and recognize how different imaging principles contribute to diagnostic capabilities, ultimately providing essential foundational knowledge for advanced study or careers in medical physics, biomedical engineering, radiology, and related healthcare fields.

先修科目

Students should have completed foundational courses in physics, mathematics, and signals and systems. Essential prerequisite knowledge includes calculus, linear algebra, basic principles of electricity and magnetism, wave physics, and fundamental concepts in signal processing and system analysis.
