The aim of this conversation class is to strengthen students' listening and speaking ability, and to help students quickly adapt themselves to the life in Taiwan. By the end of the course, students will be able to: -- know the rules of Pinyin, pronunciation tips, and tones; -- exchange greetings, introduce oneself, count in Chinese, and use common measure words; -- order food and drinks, go shopping; -- simply express one's opinions; -- talk about the weather.
None NOTE: Students who missed the first two classes will be dropped from the course.

Reminders: 1.Students who missed the first two classes will be dropped from the course. 2.Regular attendance is required, and students who have more than 5 unexcused absences will be failed. A total absence of 1/4 of course hours will lead to an automatic failure. 3.Please be reminded that your homework must be submitted on time.Late homework cannot be accepted. 4. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the actual progress of the class.
Evaluation: Attendance and Class Participation: 12% Homework : 10% Oral Test 1~3: 75% Attend Chinese Table (at least one time): 3%
