The objectives of this class are: 1) To prepare students for critical reading, understanding, and evaluation of primary research articles. 2) To prepare students to be successful in scientific communication of research findings, conclusions, and models. 3) To help the student learn current research methods and technologies, and the state of the field for microbiology and immunology.
