This course introduces the principles and methods for modeling, analyzing, and evaluating performance of production systems. The course emphasizes both analytical and simulation-based approaches to teach students to evaluate the impact of human and machine variability in production systems. Through case studies and in-class exercises, students will gain insights into how to design robust, efficient, and flexible production systems.
