This course introduces the fundamental principles of physics, covering electricity, magnetism, light, optics, and modern physics. It emphasizes conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, particularly for students in science and engineering.
Basic calculus is required; senior high school level math and physics are recommended.

Lectures will use PowerPoint slides and the blackboard. Homework will be assigned for each chapter. (Please hand in them through E3 system)
Class participation: 10% Homework: 30% Midterm exam: 30% Final exam: 30%
