The objective of this course is to offer students a comprehensive overview of adolescent health, encompassing physical aspects (e.g., risky behaviors), mental health (e.g., subjective well-being), and social dimensions (e.g., educational attainment). Additionally, the course will explore various social contexts influencing adolescent health, such as the roles of family and school. The curriculum will also include discussions on research methodologies, including statistical applications and conceptual frameworks. Through these discussions, the course aims to foster students’ interest in behavior science in general and adolescent health in particular.

1. Small presentation: Presenting one article related to your research idea (40%) I. Presenting a journal article that is related to your final project. 2. Final project: Any topic that is related to adolescent health (50%) I. Presentation (40%) II. Written report (60%): Prepare a 4-5 pages’ written report on your final research topic. The report should include the following sections: Introduction, Literature Review, and Hypotheses. Additionally, you may choose to include optional sections such as Possible Data Sources and Analytical Strategies 3. Class participation (10%): Engage actively in course discussions and provide constructive feedback on presentations.
