Lasers have been broadly used in medical treatment, with applications generally categorized into diagnostics, therapy, and surgery. This course introduces the fundamental principles of lasers, laser–tissue interactions, and the various types of lasers, as well as how lasers are implemented in clinical treatment, concluding with a summary of the current bottlenecks and future prospects of laser medicine. The content is designed to meet the needs and interests of students who plan to pursue the field of laser medicine in the future, and furthermore aims to inspire them to develop innovative thinking in related studies.
