本課程由國立陽明交通大學與國立臺灣大學教師共同授課,整合族群遺傳學、數量遺傳學、基因體學與分子演化的核心概念。課程前半部建立族群遺傳學基礎,包括遺傳多型性、基因型頻率、基因漂變、有效族群大小、族群結構與基因流;後半部延伸至數量性狀演化、遺傳定位、人類基因體學、自然選擇與分子演化。課程目標是讓學生能以族群遺傳學與演化的思維理解基因體變異的產生、維持與改變,並將相關理論連結至人類基因體與生物醫學研究。 This co-taught course brings together faculty from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and National Taiwan University to integrate core concepts in population genetics, quantitative genetics, genomics, and molecular evolution. The first half establishes foundations in genetic polymorphism, genotype frequencies, genetic drift, effective population size, population structure, and gene flow. The second half extends these concepts to the evolution of quantitative traits, genetic mapping, human genomics, and natural selection, and molecular evolution. The course aims to train students to think as population geneticists and to understand how genomic variation arises, is maintained, and changes through evolutionary processes, with connections to human genomics and biomedical research.
建議修課前具備基礎遺傳學與生物統計學知識,但不列為強制先修條件。 Prior coursework in genetics and biostatistics is recommended but not mandatory.

授課方式 / Mode of Instruction 本課程採跨校協同授課方式。國立臺灣大學丁照棣教授、李承叡教授及王弘毅教授之課程將以遠距同步教學(online synchronous lectures)方式進行;國立陽明交通大學可文亞老師之課程原則上採實體授課。遠距授課之上課教室及連線方式將於課程開始前另行公告。 This course is jointly taught by faculty from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and National Taiwan University (NTU). Lectures by Prof. Chau-Ti Ting, Prof. Cheng-Ruei Lee, and Prof. Hurng-Yi Wang (NTU) will be delivered remotely in a synchronous online format. Lectures by Prof. Wen-Ya Ko (NYCU) will normally be delivered in person. Classroom and online access information will be announced before the respective classes.
