Course Description This two-semester doctoral seminar provides an interactive forum for students to develop, refine, and communicate their research ideas and findings through scholarly dialogue with peers and faculty. The seminar emphasizes the development of research questions, theoretical and conceptual foundations, methodological rigor, and the interpretation and dissemination of research findings. Students are encouraged to critically examine current evidence, engage in meaningful academic discussions, ask insightful questions, and provide constructive responses that stimulate deeper reflection and broader perspectives on research. The course also serves as an introduction to doctoral scholarship, the international research environment, and global academic collaboration. Through ongoing discussions, peer feedback, and faculty mentorship, students will strengthen their ability to communicate research ideas effectively in both written and oral forms. Particular emphasis is placed on presenting research concepts and findings, exchanging scholarly perspectives, and fostering an academic community that supports intellectual curiosity and collaborative learning. Students will also have opportunities to prepare and submit research abstracts and deliver conference-style presentations in English. The seminar is conducted entirely in English, and all written assignments, presentations, discussions, and peer interactions are expected to be completed in English. Students are required to enroll in the seminar for two semesters (twice). Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. Conduct comprehensive literature searches and identify influential research relevant to a selected area of inquiry. 2. Critically evaluate, synthesize, and integrate theoretical and empirical evidence to develop meaningful research questions and conceptual frameworks. 3. Analyze and justify appropriate theoretical perspectives and research methodologies for investigating a selected research problem. 4. Organize and communicate research concepts, study designs, and research findings in a logical, coherent, and academically rigorous manner. 5. Deliver effective scientific presentations in English using professional communication skills and appropriate visual aids. 6. Engage actively in scholarly discussions by asking insightful, evidence-informed questions that promote critical thinking and deeper understanding. 7. Provide constructive, respectful, and evidence-based feedback on peers’ research concepts, presentations, and scientific discussions. 8. Respond effectively to academic questions and defend research ideas through logical reasoning and evidence-based argumentation. 9. Prepare and submit a research abstract that meets the standards of an international scientific conference. 10. • Develop and present research in both oral and poster presentation formats that conform to the academic and professional standards of international scientific conferences.
