This course aims to develop students' general English proficiency at the CEFR B2 level, with a core emphasis on enhancing academic listening comprehension and oral communication/discussion skills. At least 50% of the course content is dedicated to academic topics (such as environmental science, economy, societal issues, and public policy) to foster academic literacy. Through exposure to authentic lectures, news reports, podcasts, and structured debates, students will develop critical listening strategies and expressive accuracy in spoken English.
Basic listening comprehension and oral communication skills in English are required.

Teaching methods include interactive discussions, listening exercises, collaborative learning activities, student presentations, and task-based classroom activities. Students are encouraged to actively participate in English communication throughout the course.
